Fashion Styling Video-Blissful Escape

Hello everyone so continuing with my previous blog post I and partner Jillian McConnell were inspired by a video that designer Killian Kerner had already made  featuring some of his spring/summer 2010 collection. In the video he features the indie Berlin band Mor La Peach. The video took place on a windy beach natural setting. 

Our group decided it would be best to use the aspects we saw to our advantage. To achieve the natural setting we saw in our inspiration video we chose to shoot our video at a park against the tree line and in the forest itself. We chose a male and a female model as well, our fabulous models were Lisette Ocampo and Ryan Jones.I bought the dress that our model wore and bought yards of fabric which Jillian sewed and draped over the dress, she was also our videographer. Ryan Jones had a fab wardrobe selection so he brought his outfit. I did the models hair and Mai Lee Vang did the makeup. To give the windy effect, we used foam core boards to create wind. Our models had many open and free movements to portray a blissful emotion. So our overall theme was Blissful escape, which is described as the following: Escape from your world. Throw away the everyday stresses of life and take a nature getaway. Relax and feel the bliss of a peaceful environment.

Fashion Styling - Designer's Voice

Designer Kilian Kerner

Hi Fashion ravers, I’ve been working on several fashion projects for school and I am excited about this particular project and would like to share it with you. I and my awesome partner Jillian McConnell were assigned a project in which we had to create a 45 sec promo video featuring a designer of our choice. We chose an up and coming designer Kilian Kerner, who is a German fashion designer from Cologne Germany. He studied drama in Berlin and lives on emotions, and his clothing and fashion shows portrays various emotions. Kilian Kerner started his own fashion label in 2004; he designs for women’s wear and men’s wear. Killian Kerner’s women’s wear is romantic, feminine, and is inspired from Grecian designs and gives a sensual feel. His men's wear is more focused on detail in tailoring as well as casual fashions. You could say his is a minimalist with a chic flare. Killian Kerner is famous for incorporating live music at his fashion shows, he features music from underground indie bands from Berlin on stage as models walk the runway. I did research on various fashion collection Killian Kerner has and selected inspirational photos that portrays the voice of the designer which we would later style for our video.

Hair Product Review: One 'n Only Argan Oil

For the past couple of months I have been using the One 'n Only Argan Oil Treatment, along with the shampoo and conditioner. One n Only Argan Oil smoothing and conditioning products are derived from Moroccan Argan Trees. I absolutely love all three of these products. I started using these products based on good reviews. They are truly great products and leave my hair looking healthy, shiny and silky. I love running my fingers through my hair because it feels so soft. The Argan oil smells great, and you only need to use a pea size amount to spread over your entire scalp, I find that a little goes a long way. Every day I apply some oil on my ends and scalp to moisture and restore my split ends and to control any stray hairs I might have. You could apply the oil to wet or dry hair. Overall I rate these products 5 out of 5 stars for the value of the product, and meeting my hair expectations. It's a great affordable product for your hair compared to other Moroccan oils starting off at $30. I only have to use a little bit and it makes my hair shiny,soft and beautiful.

 I recommend these products for anyone wanting healthy and manageable hair. I love using the One n' Only Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner because they are amazing. I have gotten so many complements on my hair from friends and family since I started using these products, one of my friends wanted to touch my hair lols. The Argan oil shampoo is alcohol free and hydrates and restores moisture level. The conditioner reconstructs, detangles, and replenishes damaged hair restoring moisture levels as well. I love the smell of these products too. Ladies you should definitely try the shampoo and conditioner, I find that this products works well on many hair types such as African American, Caucasian,Asian and Hispanic, many of my friends have tried these products and have loved the results.

  Riley currently plays the role of Mercedes on the hit drama/comedy Glee. She has a fabulous confident voice. Jennifer Lopez's Modern Goddess Look

      Music icon, actress, designer and most recent judge on American Idol Jennifer Lopez is seen as the ultimate modern goddess; she became the  Venus Goddess brand ambassador for Venus razors. She is seen here at an event in New York on Feb 2 looking fabulous at the launch of Venus Goddess fund for Education.
